iPhone 6 tops in iPhone failure rate study reports

 


As per a research conducted by “State of Mobile Device Repair and Security”, data and security ensure firm in Blancco, iPhone 6 has the highest failure rate among all iPhones at 22%. iPhone 6S comes second with iPhone failure rate of 16%. This means one out of five iPhone6 required some sort of maintenance or service.

It is clearly visible from the list that iPhone 6 and its variants have the least reliability score. Even previous model 5S has more reliability.  iPhone failure rate for model 5S is just 5%. As per the report, the common issue with iPhone 6S was related to Bluetooth, wifi and mobile data connection. This does not indicate any problem related to hardware. Apple continuously updates its software to tackle bugs and performance issues.  Most software related issues are resolved automatically by updating the latest firmware.

As per SMDRS, Samsung mobiles have the highest failure rate of 27.4 which is more than any iPhone failure rate data. Most common issues with the Android device are camera, battery, and performance.

Overall, iPhones are more reliable compared to Android devices. It is clearly visible that the latest models of apple have the least iPhone failure rate.
